Franck Ribery is out of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Arsenal.
The France international damaged ankle ligaments in Bayern Munich’s 3-2 Bundesliga win over Fortuna Dusseldorf at the weekend.
Ribery was part of the Bayern team who destroyed Arsenal 3-1 at Emirates Stadium last month. He will be joined on the sidelines for the last-16 second-leg clash by suspended midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and defender Jerome Boateng.
Bayern are also worried about the fitness of Arjen Robben, who was not involved at the weekend because of a calf problem.
However, they will be able to choose between Luiz Gustavo and Xherdan Shaqiri if the former Chelsea star is unable to shake off the problem.
