Alexandre Lacazette has intensified the speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal after he ‘favourited’ a tweet which suggested he’ll be joining the club.
The French international has reportedly attracted the attention of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and seems just as keen to wrap a deal after recent contract negotiations with Lyon broke down.
Lacazette’s social media activity has created a Twitter storm of speculation among Arsenal fans and, although he has since deleted the 'favourite', a £27 million move to the Emirates this summer seems ever more likely.
The post read: "Wenger plans to take advantage of negotiations between Lyon & Lacazette."
The winger was a revelation for Lyon last season scoring 27 goals in 33 Ligue 1 games to announce himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in European Football.

As a result Lacazette has been linked with a host of clubs throughout Europe including Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain but its looks as if he has his heart set on a move to north London.

"Things can still change. It is early July," he said on Friday.
"The sooner it is resolved, the better it will be for everyone.
