Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann was able to give new manager Alan Pardew the perfect welcome gift, scoring two goals as his side comfortably overcame Conference side Dover Athletic 4-0.
Dann scored two in one game for the first time in his career and clearly enjoyed himself as the away side put in a solid performance.
"I'm delighted to get a couple of goals," Dann told BT Sport 1. "We knew it was a potential slip up here and we knew we had to be professional and we showed that today.”

The arrival of Pardew from Newcastle United, confirmed on Saturday when the manager signed a three and a half year deal, could mean the opportunity for those who found themselves out of favour under Neil Warnock to gain a first team place.
Barry Bannan is one of those players and put in a man of the match display in front of his new boss. Dann will look to do the same as Pardew looks to guide Palace to safety.
Dann said: "The new manager coming in has given us a good boost and it was an opportunity for some of the lads to come in and show us what they've got."
"The manager has come from a top club and we're delighted to have him on board. Hopefully we can keep putting in performances like that in the Premier League."
