Ageing punk rebel Blondie is fading to grey

It could be time for Debbie Harry to cover up and tone it down as age has caught up on the icon of punk.
As the 62-year-old singer and actress stepped out for the opening night of Broadway musical Passing Strange, it was clear her trademark blonde locks now have streaks of grey.
Unlike the much-copied back-combed platinum mane she sported in the seventies, her hair was cropped revealing a fuller face.

However, age has not stopped the idol from being as glamorous as ever.
Dressed in a fashionable monochrome ensemble which included a fur wrap and pointed white boots, she accessorised her look with a white leather clutch bag and red lipstick.
Despite her continuing style, Debbie's changed look could be a sign she is moving away from the raunchy live shows that have characterised her career.
The singer has sang in various bands since the seventies and still tours as a solo artist.
