This was the scene after a dramatic crash in south London which left two people in hospital.
Emergency services were called shortly after 12.30pm to Balham Hill, near the junction with Nightingale Lane, where police said a female pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Pictures from the scene showed the aftermath of a collision which saw the vehicle flip on to its side and police close the road while they investigated.
Scotland Yard said a woman in her 30s was taken to a south London hospital with apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
The London Ambulance Service said its paramedics treated two patients, including a man said to be in his 20s for head injuries and an unidentified second patient who was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting.
