The £150 million regeneration project brings 183 homes and a new food hall with 33 outlets, all close to the Northern line Underground station.
Close to the M1, this is where Metro-Land begins. It’s an area of playing fields, parks and avenues of tidy interwar semis that traditionally have been popular with middle-class families whose breadwinner commutes to the City or West End.
Recently designated a housing growth zone by the Mayor of London, Colindale is getting an injection of homes for young Londoners priced out of the centre.
